Buggy winner Ryan Lopez
Josh Wheelers Werks-powered, Pro-Line equipped XT8 dominated qualifying and took the TQ spot and easily took the win. Ryan Lopezs win didnt come so easy. He worked his O.S. and Pro-line equipped XRAY XB8 buggy hard in a late race battle and was able to make a last second pass for the win at the end. This was the second year for the Futaba Nitro Challenge and it was once again a great success. Many drivers went home with arms full of raffle prizes and the top three winners in every class also went home with a lot of swag. The pro class winners took home checks for $1,000! The track is one of the nicest in the nation and were sure that there will be more big races like this one there in the future.
