4WD World Champ Ryan Cavalieri and the rest of the Team Losi guys ran prototype versions of these ball-bearing drive shafts at the IFMAR Worlds, and theyll soon be on your dealers shelf. Team Losi is calling them BK Bones, since it was Brian Kinwald who did most of the R&D on the new concept. The ball bearings reduce dogbone plunge friction in the differentials outdrives. All of the Team Losi drivers have noticed substantial increases in corner speed and decreases in outdrive wear. Its smooth as butter when compared to a normal dogbone end that binds under load, and according to Team Trinity/Losi driver Todd Hodge, You wont have to build diffs nearly as much. No pricing or part numbers yet, but we do know that the BK Bones will be available for all Team Losi racing cars and trucks. |
