Penguin RC P3000 Performance Chassis

30 December, 2006
Penguin hasn’t finalized the P3000 design, but has released pictures of the second-generation. According to Penguin, the P3000  is designed “to further improve on the RS4 Pro3 by creating a stiffer chassis backbone to achieve the maximum performance that this vehicle is capable of”. Currently, the kit includes graphite shock towers and chassis braces, with a fiberglass and graphite main chassis. “G10 Fiberglass is used on the areas which the structural rigidity of graphite is not required thus reducing the overall cost of this chassis set,” says Penguin. a unique floating brace may be the P3000s best feature; it stiffens the car front-to-rear, but because of its “floating” design, it will not cause the chassis to hold a tweak if twisted.
