First came the Tessmann-Edition truggy (which you’ll see reviewed in our May issue), and now HB has tooled up another Ty-approved machine: the worlds version of his 2014 IFMAR Worlds-winning D812. Now dubbed the D815 Tessmann Worlds Edition, the top performing buggy gets an improved center drivetrain, aluminum servo saver arm and sintered brake pads along witha few fine-adjustment tweaks to take this Tessmann badged buggy to his personal set up. The rest of the buggy is all D812 and makes compatibility easy. Ty says this about the new D815, “We’ve put a lot of work into developing the D815 so it has more grip in the rear end and it feels better at high speeds, the rear roll center adjustments we can do now are a big change for us to make it handle better, so it does exactly what you want it to do. Also the drivetrain is simpler so it’s stronger, with a lower weight and it’s more free now for less resistance.” According to HB, you’ll be able to get your hands on the car in April.
