Now that we’re well into the winter months and much of the country has just received its first major snow storm, Aaron Bailey’s Snow Wraith seems a particularly appropriate machine to feature this week. We’ve admired Aaron’s Axial-based customs in past issues of RC Car Action, and this one is starts with a custom PigSnot chassis. He bolstered the bottom end with Boom Racing PHAT steel axles supplied by AsiaTees and Type G shocks. Making it snow-worthy is a set of Team Raffee Co. tracks, who also supplied the winches front and rear. The 1.9 links are by RC4x4 Performance Stainless. The snowboards and skis are 3D-printed by Mad Mike Custom Accessories. The bumpers and sliders are also PigSnot pieces. The project is clad in custom body panels made by Carter Fab & Machine, to which Aaron applied his own special rust finish and a few other goodies. Great looking truck, and a great way to make the best of this winter weather!
