Todd Henderson’s SCX10 started off as a trade he received, that already had SSD D60 axles, a JR brick battery plate, a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster controller, a Castle 10a BEC and a Hitec 7980th servo with an Axial aluminum servo horn. I added a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster Expert 40T motor to turn a Robinson Racing pinion, Hot Racing metal spur and Axial hardened tranny gears. That power is taken to the axles via MIP shafts and through GripFab lockers front and rear matched with Axial HD beveled gears. SSD CVDs turn the Gearhead UTE 1.9s up front while stock shafts turn the rears. All four wheels are wrapped in Voodoo KLRs stuffed with CI Lil Nova Foams. SSD links keep the axles where they are supposed to be. The front axle has SSD knuckles and hubs, SSD steering links, and SSD brass tubes while the rear got the SSD aluminum lock outs. Both axles are sporting the SSD Rock Shield diff covers with scale hardware. Keeping everything planted is the Brazin RC G10 chassis and GMade XD103 shocks. A SSD Rock Shield front bumper and Vanquish Rock Brawler sliders help protect and guide this rig over the rocks. Todd sprayed the body on the outside with Krylon Olive Green before fitting with a slew of Knight Customs products: Smitty fenders, Angry Eye grille, door handles, hood latches and tail lights. RC Light kit and a MadDog RC 6-inch Slim light bar give it extra realism.
