It took 3 A-Mains but the 2011 IFMAR Worlds are decided for 2wd Buggy- Ryan Cavalieri wins with A2 and A3. Ryan Maifield takes 2nd and Jared Tebo 3rd.
After qualifying, Neil Cragg was out front as the over all TQ, Cavalieri in 2nd and Ryan Maifield a solid in 3rd.
Jared Tebo started 4th from the grid and made quite a charge and took the win in the first A main.
Cragg had a bad lap during the warm-up before the final A main, causing irreparable damage to his car before the start of the final A3.
Cavalieri drove an even race finishing second in the first A-final and winning the last two A-finals. This was Cavalieri’s first World Championship in 2WD. He was also the World Champion in 4WD in 2003 in Florida and 2005 in Italy.

JConcepts was named the official contol tire of the 2011 IFMAR Worlds, the spec tire for 2wd was the JC Double Dee’s. The 2wd front tire was open to drivers selection, most chose JC green Rips for the front of the buggy for the Vaasa track.
The 4wd spec tire also utilizes JConcepts and drivers will be running the JC Flip-outs, front and rear, in green compound.
