The first official day of the 2012 Short Course Showdown Finals is underway here at Mike’s Hobby Shop in Carrolton, Texas. Today is controlled practice giving the drivers 5 minute per run to get the layout figured out and find the ultimate tire combo. The track looks fairly simple in design, but the jumps and slick conditions are proving very challenging for the drivers.
